i have named her misty
in honor of Misty Mawn, i have named this little porcelain masterpiece Misty. it is not my dolly, but my coworker brought me this to show me what his grandmother made back in world war II. he said she was a master painting these porcelain wonders, and when i opened the little package i nearly fell off my chair. he let me keep the dolly butterfly for a few weeks. i am trying to convince him to leave it in his will for me when he dies. i am also trying to figure out how i could cast a mold of this baby....Misty do you have any ideas? i will be posting more of her..you will see all the detail, the enchanting little face, the hand painted gold, and the turquoise porcelain, and the butterfly wings.....i just happen to have the new "Cloth,Paper,Scissors", at work, and i showed Dick the article, and all the resemblances mistys paintings had with this baby.

camera hp r927
i must write a little plug for my camera, it is called the hpr927. 8.2 megapixal, and it has photo shop in the camera. 3 inch screen, and it recharges in loading dock. it is the only camera that has a slimming effect....will trim you down by 10 to 15 pounds. it does everything but curl you hair, adds broaders, black and white, andy warhol effects, water color (my favorite effect) does an amazing panorma effect, and all very easy to do, in the camera (not your photo shop in the computer). i paid 350.00 last year, and now it is on www.buydig.com for 167.00 and the new model hpr967 10 megapixals, now for 249.00....if ever you need a new camera you should ck this out. i should be the offical spokesperson, as i have now sold over 30 cameras....everyone that sees this camera wants it. and i offically will say i am computer stupid, but not with this camera....i actually feel i am fancy with a computer (yee yee). on our trip to italy 4 couples went, and 3 of the couples had the hpr927....we had many serious exchanges of knowledge concerning this technological wonder, (the 4th couple was annoyed with us, their camera didnt do anything fancy),
postino....write me a letter for my box
this little letter box was found months ago yet i had no idea what grand place it would land. while as i was painting the house turquoise, it hit me, the box, the blue stripped box, it would be our mail box... it needed italiano writing.....so i called on my favorite cousin, gabrielle who kindly drew these bella italiano letters.....and now the mail man knows where to put our mail in. i think he takes great pleasure putting the magazines in one section, and the letters in another slot. how offical.
Mosaic
thislittle detail, my first mosaic... i had to negotiate help with this wonderful number sign. our dear friends the roddy's needed 14 graduate tickets, i had an extra 3, and i convinced them to help me get started on this sign, since they were actual mosaic artists.....so they came to may house one nite, brought a sister visiting from the south, sweet little millie, who drew these fabulous numbers on this turquiose piece of drift wood. bobbie helped mock up some of the real mosaic glass i brought back from maurano .....my house was meant to be italiano ok i think i went off the deep end of italy.... then they left me alone....me and all those tiny pieces of glass, with a big pair of glass nippers....yikes, it was a long nite.....midnite, and i had to get up early for work....but it didnt matter, i was on a mad mission. thank you , roddys, hubby, and all that helped...
Is this home? Kitty questioning???????
our big kitty "Buzz" wondering where the heck he is....a curtain over the front door. ....but why he asks, this is so odd. We also wondered what the curtain over the front door was all about. later to find they are fly covers/ the italian version of a screen door....needless to say i made my hubby take pictures of the fixtures in italy so i could hang the curtain. i fell in love with the curtains...every little house in burano, was a brillant bright color, with amazing little curtains in every color you could imagine. and so it came to be, the lace curtain in our house is the most favorite feature, i leave the door open, and my little curtain just blows in the wind. i will show more pics and detail of the italian casa.
